I have been a football season ticket holder for 12 years and have managed off campus housing for BYU students and have attended hundreds of other sporting events at BYU including sending
my kid to BYU football camps for two years and have never seen BYU fans treat any visiting fan or player or coach the way we see ASU and Utah treat us as guests in their house. Has it ever happened? Probably but it's very few and far between not an expected regular occurrence. My
wife and I were confronted by UCF fans and called failed soakers (duh) it just made my kid laugh then I had to explain soaking to my wife so that was fun. We were threatened multiple times at Utah had my religion mocked and yelled at just because of a game. The reports of ASU fans sicken me and nothing is done by their institutions of higher learning that preach tolerance and love. I can guarantee you if that were happening at LES the rest of our fans would regulate it before anyone else had to. The Big12 should force schools that allow this to happen without repercussions to their fanbase or AD or coaches that cannot control themselves to either control it or fine them heavily or even have them forfeit games until it stops. And the leavitts should be so proud of the sons they raised. I am in my 50's and my father would still discipline me for that kind of crap on social media.
