Not realistic or likely to make a difference
Even with a fanbase as good natured, soft, and respectful of authority as BYU, attempts to get fans to tone things down have not always gone over well (consider Holland taking the fanbase to task after a player transferred to Ok St, or those silly “Rival Right” campaigns).
“Please stop yelling mean things” won’t even make it onto the radar for ADs at most P4 programs.
