Erin was great at scoring when she would get a rebound and punch it in, but she struggled creating her own shot to be honest. She lacked the top end speed needed on a top 25 team in my opinion. She's still young though and speed can be increased with training. Sad to see her go, but I hope Rockwood has some speedy transfers and freshman coming in to help the team. This years team seriously lacked speed and creative players who could hold onto the ball. These girls struggled with controlling the ball. They were constantly giving the ball away and kicking it into space. Hoping for a big improvement next year.
One of their best players this past year, Lucy Kesler, was supposed to be a senior in high school. She graduated early. Glad she did because she was one of the few players that could truly see the field and know where the ball needed to go. That being said, she had her moments as well being so young.
I believe the future is bright.
