Get these traps. They work every single time. They are from Amazon.

Just copy and paste that into Amazon and you'll find them. They are black and I guess can be used more than once but I just dispose of the trap when a mouse gets caught.
The best part about these traps is I don't feel like I'm gonna lose a finger every time I set them.
