A fade is never a perfect call, ever. Its a last resort call usually when your norm hasnt worked. You generally call it with a freak athlete ie Puka or somebody like Rex or Harline. Ta'ase is not that. And calling it on first down with 2 TOs was irresponsible. Jake cant make that throw. Its a talent issue not an execution issue. Now if you re saying the design was to pull one of their two best corners to a blocking TE leaving 2 of our WRs with a matchup advantage and Jake missed the read , I can buy that, but if the TE was the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th read it was mistake
