Maybe Arod can improve in how he manages Jake but I know he's done that very well in the past even shifting between differing QB styles during the 2019 season when he had to come up with different game plans for ZW, Jaren and then Baylor. Baylor was probably the most different of the 3 and Arod put together a great gameplan for his first start against Boise St.

Jake struggles on 3rd downs (I'm curious what his completion pct is on 3rd down throws) but a lot of the time success on 3rd down is predicated on how we did on 1st and 2nd down and getting us to 3rd and short so we have better options.
