Hypothetically this should be resolved with the 12 team playoff, in that if you
are in the field of 12 and lose your CCG, you shouldn't necessarily lose your spot, unless you are a fringe team that had their spot taken by the team that beat you in the CCG
but you absolutely should not lose your spot to a team that didn't even make their own CCG
