If you have a basic multimeter, I'd double-check. Or I think Autozone still runs free checks on batteries.

Car is 5 years old with probably the original battery in it. Regardless, you should replace your battery

It appears he concluded it is fine because the interior lights come on. Which is not an actual indication the battery
