I charge a meager 5 dollars per kid per semester. This gets me through with everything we need pretty easily.

But I’m not going to pay 2500 bucks a year out of my own pocket to teach the kids, sorry. If the states going to get rid of my source of income for science stuff then the state needs to replace that money.

Sounds like a great way to dumb down education even more. Why does our legislature hate public education?
