This is a terrible narrative. Having said that, the only solace I would find
in that scenario is that at least BYU had to lose it on the field of play. We know they won’t get left out if they win every game—unlike any other year in the past.
But, it’s so dumb and arrogant for fans and writers to spew this crap that the margin for error is so extreme between a non-big-brand like Indiana, a Big 12 team, or an ACC team when compared to the SEC or blue-bloods in the big 10.
