They just need to have valid exigent circumstances. I just wanted to point it out based on what you stated about telling your kids to never let them in without a warrant. Its surprising how many people don't know how it all works. My neighbor for example thought he could get out of a DUI if he raced to his house and got onto his property before they grabbed him. Like its a game of kick the can or something? And hes a normally smart multimillionaire construction business owner. haha
