You know they can, and do every day lawfully enter homes without a
warrant? Without the owners permission or even if the owner flat out tries to stop them?
Happens with a lot of things. Mostly Domestic Violence calls. Which is their most common calls.
They just need to have valid exigent circumstances. I just wanted to point it out based on what you stated about telling your kids to never let them in without a warrant. Its surprising how many people don't know how it all works. My neighbor for example thought he could get out of a DUI if he raced to his house and got onto his property before they grabbed him. Like its a game of kick the can or something? And hes a normally smart multimillionaire construction business owner. haha
Could save you, your kids, and anyone else reading this post a lot of problems if you don't realize that.
