But don't worry, if he is as wealthy and connected as I suspect, he will have the best lawyers money can buy, the judge will likely be a member of the crimson club, and he will probably get off with some light community service (volunteering in one of his family's foundations?) and a plea in abeyance that doesn't give him a permanent record.
The civil case, on the other hand, should lead to a generous although confidential settlement. I would be delighted to handle that. Anybody know the victim's family? I'd even reduce my usual fee.
