we noticed several unnecessary purchases to Amazon. She is a FT student at the Y and does not work. Luckily, our daughter agreed that she could use less money and still get by. College should be a struggle financially, but it still sucks when you have to have talks with adult kids who may be taking advantage of you.

My advice-choose the timing and tone carefully to address it. We did not address it right away, and my wife explained that if she could do without less she should because we have other expenses for which we need to be saving.
