I moved to Idaho years back and have since moved back to Texas.
I switched banks to a bank up in Idaho but have never felt the need to switch to a bank with a local branch here in Texas.

That being said it's basically just a vehicle for direct deposit and bills while the rest gets shoved off to Ally bank for basic savings and their HYSA and Schwab for investments.

I think the last time I was physically in a bank was 2017.

The only reason I'm not directly banking with ally is just switching my direct deposit friction.
