centered crowd. Could definitely hear the BYU sections loud and clear on the TV.

Yes he is. Getting a lot of fans at away games is the very definition of a team traveling well. BYU travels well.

It means the team travels well, not the fans. If the team draws a lot of fans to its away games, it travels well.
