mid season. I haven’t worked at BYU but know people who do. Have worked for Church HQ and I know we are exceptionally slow to fire people. Lots of reasons, and many of them I respect, as life can be very difficult and Church leaders know that we are trying to put food on the table.
Many many times, it’s much more than what meets the eye. So it’s possible there were desires to move on long before the firing happened but Kalani may have been given some feedback about how to do it.
