That's not the dangerous part. What if you're not as responsible as you think
you are or something happens and you negatively impact the credit of your child?
My wife's parents took out student loans in her name and never told her, she didn't know about them until I ran a credit report on her before marriage, they had incurred over 2 years of interest and late fees.
