entertainment we are limited and I am of the mindset that it is that fork in the road deal where those who truly want to be performers have to decide if they want to go all the way or be hamstrung by their faith and testimony as that has no place in the world they are entering. Like being told to bale a ship using a sieve. Sure it can be done and there are a few examples out there, however for many they find themselves literally in situations where they are being told if they want the shot at stardom or fame they need to remove that "mormon" patina or else they are not getting anywhere.

This isn't as much of an issue for authors, painters, sculptors and media arts types. However performers it is always hanging in front of them.
