This version is not weird or at least the weirdness has been serious mitigated. This branding is really projecting BYU as a place any kid who likes the traditional values can thrive. In an era of increasing craziness on college campuses BYU is an amazing breath of fresh air to socially conservative folks-regardless of religious affiliation.
