A big caveat is these stats do not consider strength of schedule

Which is why, even with average stats like these, we are top 5 in strength of resume. we've had one of the hardest schedules in the country and we're undefeated. Our raw numbers may not be impressive, until you consider who we played to get those numbers.

Those stats are a huge validation for the defense...may not be elite...but much better than the offense at this point
