Football is not a sport of math where you can calculate how much you're going to win by as a result of looking at other
wins with similar matchups. Different teams create different mismatches. Players get hurt. We have an off day or one too many mistakes or bad calls or bad preparation from the coaches who are expecting certain things that don't happen. That's why Team X beats Team Y by 21, then Team Y beats Team Z by 10 and then Team Z beats Team X by 7 instead of Team X beating Team Z by 30. That's just how it goes.
