Only evidence is this guy's story that a gun was pulled. Not enough for the
Police to enter a house without a warrant.
Just think of a situation if your neighbor lied and said you pulled a gun on them. Should the police be able to enter your house based on just that?

A person’s home is the place most protected by the 4th amendment. The standard to get a warrantless entry into a home

Police often won't get involved until after a murder has already been committed

What shocks me the most is that the police cannot do anything if the perp

If there is a second incident, he could get a protective order in place

Pretty sure he can do that now. There doesn't have to be two incidents.

If he isn't carrying concealed already, he needs to do that ASAP.
