Over the weekend, my brother had a gun pulled on him. It was around 11:30 pm when he was taking out the trash on Saturday night. His neighbor directly next to him (it's a fourplex) came out and started yelling at him to not make noise. My brother apologized if he woke him up then this dude just started cussing at him all upset. The neighbor then pulled out a gun and was pointing it at my brother saying he'll blow his head off. My brother kept backing away and the guy then slammed the door. My brother has had limited interactions with him up to this point.

My brother immediately called the police who arrived with about 5 officers. They knocked on this guys door for awhile but he never came out and the police said they couldn't do anything further at the time since he wouldn't answer the door. My brother left that night to stay at our parents house and hasn't gone back.

My brother is working with a detective and is pressing charges. Understandably, he's scared to even go back to his place. He is planning to move. My brother's landlord contacted the neighbor's landlord. The neighbor's landlord says he is planning to evict this guy after the incident.

Is there anything else my brother should be thinking about from a legal standpoint?
