Anybody else think it’s kind of messed up that the losers of the first round playoff games don’t get a bowl game?

I agree with that part, but the first round is Dec 19. Most of the good bowl games are Dec 28 or later.

It’s a home game for the higher seeded team. It’s better than a regular bowl because there are real stakes.
