Looking for a hotel somewhat near Rome. Traveling with small children

Hard to think of a part of Rome that wil be exciting to that young of kids in a traditional way. Last time

We stayed in a little B&B. Evenings were scenic and quiet. We fell in love with a restaurant there and ate there 2

Not sure about family friendly hotels but look for an air bnb. Also remember
