Soupie is describing. While there have been bad teams, most franchises have up and down years. For example, the Steelers have had some bad seasons, but they have had a lot of success as well (most recently with a QB they started from day one). Franchises recover when they find a good QB. You find good QBs in the draft. And, overall, QBs have better careers outcomes when they start year one.
