Interesting to note that last season at NCAAs BYU started out way too fast and everyone faded badly. In yesterday’s race all BYU runners started out slowly and then started moving up throughout the race (though Riley faded a little from 3k to 5k). Almost positive this was a deliberate race strategy put in by Diljeet. You can see each runner’s placement at different splits at the link below.
