Sounds legit, but these types of articles have a narrow range to hit. I hated the “Jamaal Williams, with no plans to
become LDS” article that a lame beat writer (Franchuk) wrote about Jamaal and his Mom among the “strange” people at BYU. He tried to find the sweet spot (interesting and not eye-rolling) but utterly failed.
