Lottery draft picks often don't dominate in college
And BYU has a lot new players, coaches, schemes, etc that will take time to adjust to each other and to the Big 12.
And while BYU had a great offseason, so did a lot of other teams in the Big 12 - Kansas, Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, Arizona, ASU, etc.
Thank goodness BYU gets to play the yewts twice.
