The show "Something Bit Me" (Disney+; check it out) has a wolf attack episode
They did point out that the wolf in question was off somehow (e.g., apparently it was mentally not all there, maybe rabid or something like that ...)

No. My guide also works for a taxidermist. He skinned and prepped it for a full body mount.
