Neither extreme are true. Utah was a lower tier P5 playing at the level of a 2nd tier.

I don't see any reason to devalue overachieving programs.

Some fans get caught up in that and over estimate...every program has that. BYU fans are notorious for their overvaluation of BYU. Especially when it comes to remembering the 80s and 90s.

But right now, Cougs are 5-0...under the radar...healthy and getting healthier. Solid defense. Lots to like.

I wouldn’t worry so much about Utah. If we’re being honest, as a Utah fan, I like what I’m seeing from rising, singer, kuithe and Bernard. That’s a potential championship game contender if healthy
