But your argument is that she received attention and promotion only because she is a white athlete in a sport dominated

by black athletes (at least that’s what I think you’re saying). Regardless of the three point line, it seems her scoring accomplishments are impressive and deserving of promotion. That promotion seems to be because of her ability, not her race. Am I missing something?
