I spoke to Kalani at the summer camps for about a good 45 minutes watching the incoming freshman along with the sophomores.

He is 100% with his guys he has. I believe that is the only way BYU can be successful.

It’s also the reason he has a hard time letting guys go. Once he believes in them he is loyal to the core. He looks to surround himself with those same type of guys.

It might have been painfully slow at times to make changes but now that the right guys are in place I believe the loyalty will be reciprocated. The coaching staff loves to be around each other and I think all of them realize that’s a very difficult thing to accomplish.
