We will find out soon enough if it is accurate but what if: the center doesn't double clutch on that first drive when they complete the ball for a likely touchdown? What if they kept the ball on the ground the whole game with their twin speeders? What if the balls don't bounce our way on the punt return and fumble? You could make a case for it was just one of those days for K State.

However, we have now four data points showing a very different defense that is causing a lot of chaos. Is our defense successful because of smoke and mirrors which will eventually wear off? Do we have the depth to continue to play defense at this high level. All these questions are going to be fun to watch.
