People hated the cubical space, and I get it... but the second that people's privacy space was taken away...
WFH became instantly popular. The last in office job I had before the pandemic, I worked at Top Golf where our desks were rolling desks... so we could roll them into pods with other people we were working with. They called it a collaborative environment where we could move our workspace instantly. It was annoying and ZERO privacy.

So people complained about the lack of privacy so they created these floor to ceiling glass boxes you could go into to take or make a call... so you could go in them, they were super quiet... but everyone in the dang office is staring at you the entire time. So they were rarely if ever used.

The best part of the office was this view of this parking garage where the some C level individuals would take some of the female marketing staff and apparently have "meetings" in his car, and it was on display for everyone to see.
