Why can't you just accept that the LB defending him had two jobs?

If it's a pass play and Hill goes out, he's guarding him.

If it's a run, or Hill stays in to block, he's blitzing.

He bought the play action and the delay/block fake by Hill so he blitzed. He thought it was a run, then he had a clear path to the QB. Then he instantly regretted his decision when he turned around and watched Hill walk into the end zone.
