If it was impacting your daughter, why would you not move? Sounds like you are

happy with the result. I haven't raised snowflakes, but I'm not going to sit next to my kid being harassed and not move or ask the person to stop. Seems like an odd choice when it would have been quite easy to just avoid the situation once you realized what was happening. I would likely have asked my kid if they wanted to move.
