Yeah and no - UW beat Weber State and Eastern Mich by middling margins. Then
Lost to Wash St on a neutral field and is still right up there.
Meanwhile, Wazzu destroyed a P4 team, Texas Tech, by the same margin that Washington defeated Eastern Michigan, put up 70 points on Portland State, and defeated UW on a neutral field in UW's home town. And is nowhere to be seen.
The formula is asinine if that is what the formula says.

Which of course, makes sense. A ranking system based entirely on 1 or 2 or even 3 games would be completely worthless.
