Wilson and Hall had cannons, but their accuracy and ball placement was a thing of beauty. The only one that I seriously worried passing was Sol Jay, but he was not really a QB, but more of a Running back/slot receiver with the ok to pass 10 or fewer passes per game. Even less known QBs like Christian Stewart, Baylor Romney, and James Lark has starting quality arms that would have been day 1 QBs on most teams (obviously Stewart started his final year), but BYU has never had an issue finding upper tier passers for QB, until Conover didn’t pan out and they missed on I Wilson. We, as fans, have gotten spoiled.
