Focus on thst. Jake’s foot speed and release are elite. Those skills are very valuable when you don’t have a run game. Jake certainly has some issues and I hope he improves, but our lack of run game is by far our biggest problem and makes it very challenging to play QB.

Those that fail to recognize our run game problems and that Jake does have skills with his elusiveness and quick release to compensate for that are clueless This is why coaches feel like it gives us the best chance to win. Taysom didn’t throw as good of ball as Mangum in practice but hindsight, there is no question who gave us the best chance to win

I have seen posters say well. The lack of run game shouldn’t affect his throws?
Yes it does much harder to pass when you are under pressure and they are focused on the pass.

Or coaches are going to lose the team because they keep starting Jake. Dude just led our team in Rushing and players know he will do what it takes to win.
