Family history and ancestry are interesting things. I alway knew my lineage was
England/Wales as well as Denmark. I have never been into genealogy much because I have aunts on both of my parents' sides that went hog wild and there really isn't much work to be done.

But just recently I have felt a pull to understand my ancestors more. In the process I learned that my great grandmother's parents were born in Scotland. And her lineage is pretty much all Scottish before her.

I never knew about the Scotland thing. Now I have a strong desire to visit Scotland as well as the other countries. Like something very strong is calling me there and I don't know why.

As a non practicing member, I can say I am grateful for the church's resources. And I do believe the hearts of the children turn to their fathers. How blessed we are for those that paved the way so that we can carry on their legacies!

Not sure what category this belongs in so I put it in Chit Chat.
