He was a Utah grad and season ticket holder.  His seats were on the 20 yard line in the lower section of the west stands.  98% of the games I attended were not against BYU.  A group directly behind them would pass around a cup of "Coke" part way through the first half, get red-faced and loud.  Sometimes one would get a little too much and start dropping vulgarities.  My mom would get super uncomfortable--and others in the area recognized it was getting to be a bit much, but rarely did anything other than give an apologetic look until loud swearing guy got himself under control.  Anytime a BYU score was mentioned, you could bet on at least some f-bombs to start flying.
