IDK much about concussions but you mentioned seizures and it reminded me of this video that I thought was very..
fascinating that showed this young lady that was struggling with the ability speak after a seizure but somehow was able to sing a duo great.
I've looked and looked for that miraculous video online but unfortunately I'm having difficulties finding it.
IDK maybe music and singing might help rewire her brain to restore some functionality faster?
I was able to find this other video though that is along the same vein of the power of music to restore life.
