For the most part it did. Those of us that know her very well can see differences (ie she has more anxiety and stress
than she did previously) but friends, members of her ward, extended family would all tell you that they feel like she made a full recovery.
Some of those changes I recognized could also have been related to natural aging or other factors but for the most part she did recover her personality as well.
