Probably. Have her discuss a plea in abeyance with the prosecutor at the first
appearance. If they don’t offer it, plead not guilty and request a trial date and discovery. Then keep working to get a plea in abeyance. If they never offer it and they have the evidence against her, try and plead to a lesser offense.
