Jake should be yanked… you can’t turn it over 10 times in 5/6 games. No matter your play making ability, you’re hurting your team. To me he should have one final shot. A careless turnover at Wyoming should seal his byu playing fate.

The defense was causing fits dropping 8 because we kept rolling a DE back into coverage and bringing a LBer or starting to spy with Kelly/Taggart and they’d go get the qb once he broke the pocket.

Our open field tackling was amazing. Night and day difference from last year and the Tuiaki years. There’s a reason some star guys were shown the door last year.

Our OL coach is probably the reason our offense limped to a 2-0 record. The defense just kept holding off attacks so they could keep grinding it out. This game is a loss last year.

Overall, it will all be forgotten if this falls into the category of an outlier game we all see in college football from teams a few weeks each year. If them problems carry into Wyoming, then the giant panic button should be hit.

2-0 is better than 1-1, maybe this wakes the offense up. If the defense starts holding the offense accountable then guys will step up
