My daughter is working at an ice cream shop that accepts tips. The owners don’t give any of the tip money to the employees. They told their employees that any tips earned or given goes towards marketing and sponsorship for the business. Is that legal? It doesn’t feel right that the business is keeping money given based on the service of their employees. Not trying to stir the pot just curious.
