their young son locked themselves in a bedroom while I went to her mom's house to see her brother come home after his mission. I was also friends with her brother, before we dated actually. I was there for more than 5 hours. I had no idea they were there. They turned the lights off and remained quiet in that room until I left. No tv in there. iPads weren't a thing yet.

She helped plan the 10th, 15th, and 25th HS reunion but he never let her come to it.

It's beyond not letting us talk. She no longer lives in Vegas, but if we saw each other they'd visibly run across the street.

I would never have private ongoing conversation with her, but he won't even allow public communication.
