I agree. I prefer 8, or maybe even 10. But the ideal is 8, with good OOC games,
including road games. What sucks is when teams only have 8 conference games, and then schedule FCS and other cupcakes at home in their OOC.
I’m hoping the new playoff system incentivizes better SOS instead of just trying to lose the fewest possible games.
