This 46-mile section of the trail took me around the rim of Crater Lake, and through the Fremont-Winema and Unpqua National Forests. Crater Lake was so awesome that I thought it needed it's own post.
I also started the 64-mile road walk around the Diamond Complex Fires, several of which I could see burning from the road I was on.
